Unsolicited Commercial Email (Anti-Spam) Policy

This policy applies to all employees, officers, contractors, consultants, vendors, and any other parties acting on behalf of Abel Screening, Inc.

Purpose

​

Abel Screening, Inc. is committed to promoting its services in a responsible, professional, ethical, and lawful manner. We prohibit the use of spam, unsolicited bulk email, purchased email lists, deceptive marketing practices, and unauthorized third-party promotions to advertise our company, websites, products, or services.

Policy Against Spam

Abel Screening, Inc. does not advertise its websites, products, or services through unsolicited bulk email campaigns ("spam").

The Company prohibits the use of:

  1. Purchased, rented, harvested, or unlawfully obtained email lists.

  2. Mass unsolicited commercial email campaigns.

  3. False, misleading, or deceptive sender information, subject lines, or message content.

  4. Automated systems used to distribute unsolicited bulk commercial email.

  5. Third parties acting on behalf of Abel Screening, Inc. who engage in spam or other prohibited email practices.

  6. Email communications sent after a recipient has requested not to receive future marketing communications.

Abel Screening, Inc. does not authorize any employee, contractor, consultant, vendor, or third party to promote its websites, products, or services through unsolicited bulk email or other spam-related practices.

Business Communications

Abel Screening, Inc. communicates with existing customers, individuals who have requested information about our services, and professional organizations that may have a legitimate interest in child-safety screening, risk assessment, training, or related services.

In limited circumstances, Abel Screening, Inc. may send targeted business-to-business communications to organizations or individuals whose mission, services, or professional responsibilities align with child protection, child safety, risk assessment, foster care, adoption, youth services, behavioral health, or related fields. These communications are individually targeted and are not distributed as part of unsolicited bulk-email campaigns.

Opt-Out and Unsubscribe Process

Abel Screening, Inc. respects the communication preferences of all recipients.

Marketing communications include instructions for requesting removal from future marketing emails. Recipients may opt out at any time by:

 

Abel Screening, Inc. will promptly honor all opt-out requests and maintain internal suppression records to help ensure that individuals who have opted out do not receive future marketing communications.

Email Address Collection Practices

 

Abel Screening, Inc.:

  • Does not purchase or rent email lists.

  • Does not use email addresses obtained through harvesting, scraping, or other unauthorized collection methods.

  • Collects contact information from existing business relationships, direct inquiries, publicly available business contact information, professional directories, conferences, referrals, and other lawful business sources.

  • Uses contact information solely for legitimate business purposes related to its products, services, training programs, research activities, and professional outreach.

 

Security and Email Account Protection

 

Abel Screening, Inc. is committed to protecting its email systems and preventing unauthorized use of its domains, websites, and email accounts.

The Company prohibits the use of its email systems, domains, websites, or accounts for phishing, fraud, impersonation, spam, malware distribution, or any other unauthorized or unlawful activity.

If Abel Screening, Inc. becomes aware of a suspected email account compromise, unauthorized access incident, phishing campaign, or other misuse of its email systems, the Company will take appropriate corrective actions, which may include:

  • Securing affected accounts and resetting credentials.

  • Revoking unauthorized access.

  • Reviewing and strengthening security settings and controls.

  • Investigating the scope and impact of the incident.

  • Notifying affected parties when appropriate.

  • Implementing additional safeguards to reduce the risk of future incidents.

 

Abel Screening, Inc. maintains administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect its email systems and reduce the risk of unauthorized use. Employees and contractors are expected to follow applicable security policies and promptly report any suspected security incidents involving Company email accounts or systems. 

 

The Company does not authorize any person to use its email systems, domains, websites, or trademarks to send phishing emails, fraudulent communications, unsolicited bulk email, or any other messages that violate this Anti-Spam Policy.

 

Enforcement

 

Any employee, contractor, consultant, vendor, or third party found to be promoting Abel Screening, Inc. through unsolicited bulk email, spam, deceptive marketing practices, or other activities prohibited by this policy may be subject to disciplinary action, termination of their relationship with the Company, or other appropriate corrective measures.

Reports concerning possible violations of this policy will be investigated promptly.
